To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:
- The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it
- The item must be in its original packaging
- You must have proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)
- The return request must be made within 30 days of the delivery date
- The item must not be a custom or personalised product
Certain items are not eligible for return due to hygiene and safety reasons. These include:
- Opened essential oils or fragrance bottles
- Used wax or wicks
- Products that have been damaged by the customer
- Items purchased during clearance or final sale events
3. Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact us via email or phone within 30 days of receiving your order
- Provide your order number and the reason for the return
- Wait for our confirmation and instructions on how to proceed
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging
- Ship the item to the address we provide
- Retain your shipping receipt as proof of return
Please do not send your return to our workshop address without first contacting us. Returns sent without prior authorisation may not be accepted or processed.
4. Refunds
Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the status of your refund. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider's policies.
Please note the following regarding refunds:
- Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned item
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or we made an error
- Refunds will be issued to the same payment method used for the original purchase
5. Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item for a different product, please follow the return process above and place a new order for the desired item. This ensures the fastest processing time and guarantees the availability of your desired product.
If the exchange is due to a defect or error on our part, we will cover the shipping costs for both the return and the new shipment. Please contact us to arrange this before sending the item back.
6. Damaged or Defective Items
We take great care in packaging and shipping our products. However, if you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately with:
- Your order number
- Photographs of the damaged or defective item
- Photographs of the packaging (if applicable)
- A description of the issue
We will assess the situation and offer a replacement, refund, or other appropriate solution. Damaged or defective items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery to ensure prompt resolution.
7. Workshop Cancellations and Refunds
Our workshop cancellation policy is separate from our product return policy. For workshop-related cancellations and refunds, please refer to our Terms of Use or contact us directly. In summary:
- Cancellations more than 7 days before the workshop: Full refund
- Cancellations 3-7 days before the workshop: 50% refund
- Cancellations less than 3 days before the workshop: No refund available
- Rescheduling requests: Subject to availability, must be made at least 48 hours in advance
If we cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to attend an alternative session.
8. Gift Returns
If you received a product as a gift and wish to return it, please contact us with the order information. If we can locate the original order, we can process the return and issue a store credit or exchange for the gift recipient.
Please note that we cannot provide cash refunds to gift recipients. Refunds can only be issued to the original purchaser's payment method or as store credit to the gift recipient.
9. International Orders
For customers who have placed international orders, please be aware of the following:
- International return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- Customs duties and taxes paid on the original order are generally non-refundable
- Return shipping may take longer and we recommend using a tracked shipping service
- Refunds will be issued in the original currency of the purchase
10. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received a refund within the expected timeframe, please:
- Check your bank account or credit card statement again
- Contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted
- Contact your bank, as there is often some processing time before a refund is posted
- If you've done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us
